About The Artist

Born in the Philippines but Dublin-based artist, Nester Formentera, is globally recognised initially with his unique ‘line artwork’ technique. Primarily a realism artist who used BIC pen, Pencil and Colour Pencil and as a self-taught artist developed his method using a fine liner. Nester’s Artwork is based on his personal emotions and acquires his inspirations essentially on naked sculptures by legendary artists.

He currently aims for minimalism with only the application of colours black and white which captures the audience attention due to its distinctiveness. Nester completed an Illustration course in Dublin, where he subsequently progressed his artistic skills. His art pieces were featured to a number of exhibitions locally and in different countries and were sold internationally.
